Maybe it was this Luke clown who sent the emails about Jon's son. :dunno:

Seems too weird to happen at such a small event. Did this happen at the hotel or the barbque?

There has got to be a way to track this down. Is there any way to assure that the kelly dyer you're emailing with is giving you an honest answer that he wasn't ever at the meet?

It happened at the track in the morning. I had just got done talking to Chad and we got hot dogs at the concession stand. I remember because I got some of it in my camera and thought for sure my wife would kill me. Tim from Ohio got his prop at this time and then Ken said, "this guy's looking for you...here he is" and pointed at me for the fella. Talked to Tim from Ohio and then, kinda had to stop the conversation so I could help "Kelly Dyer". This is really shitty.

Really sad George.... could be that some of our "guests" were trolling the board.... but what a bunch of trouble to go through to try and screw someone out of a propshaft :rant:

If we don't find the guy who did this, or get it resolved.... I say we start a "Help George Get His Money Back" fund.... I'll donate the first $20 to get it started.... we can't let one of our valued vendors end up getting stuck while trying to help all of us out!!

x2. I was gonna say the same thing. You're too good to the SyTy community and we got your back. I will not tolerate you getting screwed. You will NOT lose money. I'm in for $20.00.

George, forget about the last PM i sent you today. Im going to cover your advertising space for the next year to help offset the cost of this misfortunate so now youre only out $300.

and if the person who screwed George out of the propshaft reads this, please make sure you never show your face at another SyTy event again, infact sell your truck now, because if you are spotted by someone who recognizes you at another event, the doctors in the ER are going to learn exactly what a propshaft is.

i will post some of my pics up from the track, i took a few he has got to be in a couple and chances are he was from around kens area may see him again i dont think he would have drove all that way to steal a shaft but who knows. there has to be a pic somewhere and someone has to know him.

Hell, I've read way more than $20.00 worth of information that poured out of George's brain. Gimme a paypal addy. I hate more than anything to see someone helping others out of good faith and then being taken.

So have I, but we can only do what we can do. I figure 15-20 members step up at $20, George will be square and the criminal loses. If someone wants to throw in $200, so be it. If someone else can only do $5 or $10, their intentions are no less noble.

George, I really appreciate the work you have done to bring these improved products to us.
I'm sorry this has happened.Please don't let this discourage you, or keep you from offering group purchases in the future.
Hopefully you will be able to find a pic of the thief in one of the Homecomming galleries.

Please keep us updated.

You are one of the people that helps make this such a great group.
