driving to 06 nats

me and my buddy are gonna drive his sy from utah to the nats. just curious if anyone else is planning on driving from the west coast that we could meet up with and speed together!!

Where are you in Utah? I will be driving NM->TX->OK->KS but Im sure Will(in Denver) will chime in here about a month before Nats .

I live south of Denver.I will be taking I-70 all the way to KC.If all goes well I will make the NATS for my first time.

Hope you dont plan on beating on the truck to much.. Thats my only fear, drive more then 300 miles away from home beat on the truck and not be able to make it back. Thats why I'm planning on trailering it. hyes:

C'mon...have more faith in your truck dude! :lol:

Mogan, Mike, and myself all traveled 1200+ miles last year...one way. Then again I think Morgans front diff died .

I got/get more runs with my truck then anyone I've been around.. Hell I ran 7 times in Ga last year just goofing around with the truck. I cant think to how many times I'm gonna run at the nats, lol. Or better yet, at Phil's place when I get the truck tuned in a few months. :roll:

I didnt race my truck AT ALL last year...really let Servando down as he was hounding me all day to :rotf: "C'mon Rodney...You can beat these dudes!" :rotf:

I did pull a baby boost launch in the parking lot but hey...

Yeah, Id tow it if I raced it :tup:

I drive mine 600 miles one way to the Nats,beat it like a rented mule,then drive it home.

I drive ours over 600 miles one way every year with the whole family. Race it and drive it home. Trailer it if you can but I dont have a trailer and the Nats just arnt the same if we dont race. If it breaks I'll just have to get it fixed localy, maybe bribe Ted to keep it at his house untill I can come back and get it, rent a car to drive home or get a ride from Jimmy.

ahhhh nationals damn i wish i had a truck! dodges don't cut it do they lol i know i know need a sy/ty well the is a chance i will have one by then but it is a slim chance. but the fat lady isn't singing yet so if i do get one i will be driving it for sure
