electrical or vacuum boost gauge

which is more accurate, elec. or vacuum or does it even matter? i have a digital spa boost/egt gauge now that is in use but i want to change it out to autometer. the reason is 'cause the egt is not hooked up. missing the sender, i think?

the location of the sender now is at the brake booster vacuum line to the top of the intake. it has some port in-line.

Just buy the guages I have use the mechanical ones seem to be the most accurate but that is just me.

It may just be personal preferance

was already thinking it was just a preference but i wanted to see what some people thought. thanx for the reply:tup:

I see no problem with mechanical gauges, so long as it isnt something that could mess you up if something went haywire (oil press, fuel press, etc). Having hot/flammable fluids in the cab is never a good idea. Boost, however, can't hurt ya :tup:

was thinking about going with this one cause it'll match my digital fuel pressure gauge http://austin.craigslist.org/pts/1323653203.html.

anyone use or hear of the brand?
