Electrical problems (long)

Ok so it started a while back when I was with sean and we needed to be somewhere. The truck didnt start. Sean jiggled the starter wires at the starter and she started up. That problem lasted a little while and finally she jsut stopped starting. I never got around to tightining the wires because of fucked up work schedules and sleep. Anyways fast foward 2 months when I have time and money. I put a new starter in nothing. So I returned it. Reran the purple wire...nothing. Connected my newly ran purple wire to the battery with the key in the on position and she starts up. Great... Radio wont turn on. I get back from taking her around the block and my friend says my reverse lights were on while I was driving away...Shit!! Oh and now my trunk release button wont work either. Any Ideas on what gremlins I should be chasing?

starting problem sounds like the neutral safety switch.

Well there is a conn. between the hatch circuts & the nuetral saftey sw. So, that would tie in with the back up light too. Radio? maybe a seperate issue.
So U put the pur. right in the bat? U should hear the sol. engauge , key or not.

Let me find a cat chewing on anything I own. Ill rip its fucking teeth out and let it go. Anyways it was the neutral safety switch. The radio I am still looking into. Its about 110+ today so I wait till its dark to do all my work.
