Engine mounts

Is this your bush?
So since the front diff is coming out of the Typhoon most likely....what motor mounts are the best option and where to buy them for a street truck that might see a track every once in a bluemoon? Just wanna get some prices....thoughts from others would help and be much appreciated!

Cheers Aaron

Are the urethane mounts able to use the factory heat shields? Or are they left to take the brunt of the heat?

I like the JTR 2.8 mounts!

X2, Pleased with mine. They fit well and wont sag and fail like the stock design.
As a fyi these 2.8 mounts are the clamshell type almost identical to the ones on the C4 vette and are used by GM on the 4.3 Astro van. The difference is that they are fitted in reverse for our trucks.

Re: Engine mounts

Just go solid mounts. People ride in mine and are shocked i have solid mounts, and thats after i tell them they are solid mounts. Im using Trans Dapt mounts for a Camaro, i forget the year though. I did have to cut part of the passenger side frame pad corner off, works great though.

Re: Engine mounts

I have the JTR 2.8 mounts in my Sy and solid in my Ty. No complaints with either but if I had to do it again I would spend a little more money and go solid. My Ty has been to Denver and Yuma from southeast NM with no issues or vibration.
