Engine stutters and stumbles...

I just did a quick tune on the Ty after the tranny transplant. I did the all the fluids and went for the plugs as well. The old plugs were shot (super fouled & dark). They were the NGK TR6s, originally I had the TR5s. This time I went with the TR55s. Anyhow I took her for a drive for about an 1hr each way. She was smooth but the second I got off the freeway towards the neighborhood the check engine light turns on. She starts to stumble with the RPMs under load, made it home. Let her cool off and when I went to start it, RPMs are high 2500-2000 idle, it goes down to 1400-1800 in gear. Tryed again and she won't idle. Plugs and wire all tight. Could it be the gap? What else?

Also make sure that when you messed with the trans linkage you didn't somehow get the other parts messed up.

yea mine does that on occasion...when it dumps the boost. i need to do the vac line replacement also.
