fabricated exhaust manifolds question

ive been using these for years but now that im adding A/C i need to
rethink the manifolds

I came up with these....

BUT im wondering ...
my goal is around 400hp (i have 50lbers and an H3 TO4)
will fabricated log style manifolds get me there ?
I was thinking the header style manifolds might be over kill.
and im having lack of space issues.

I will use the same sizes in sched 40 pipe to a log either 1.75
or 2" to a good Y pipe and the turbo.

i do agree the header style is probably better and sexier but do i really need
them for my build ?

log should suffice for that hp goal. dsm guys have gone higher than that w/ logs.

Re: fabricated exhaust manifolds question

There is probably little benefit from using a single point collected header for forced induction. There is a benefit, yes, but there are people making really big power on the stock syty manifolds.

If I had to do it again, I'd probably do a log.
