Flex a Forms with Caltracs

How many people have had good luck using the flex a form springs with the caltracs? I broke my flex a forms first time at the strip and George replaced them and I have caltracs now I can put on with them. Remember I launch hard.

i'm pretty sure the Hoovers are running that same setup and I think they lauch harder then anyone on the board. I have yet to hear them say anything about breaking springs.

I know I personally ran that combo with no problems, as have many others. Unfortunately some have not had as good of luck as others..

Do I need to set some preload into them? If so how much?

Maybe 1/2 to 1 turn of preload. Not sure what others are running though.
