Re: Front Brake - LS1 uprade how to

i just put mine back together today, had to repack the bearings. you know you can only buy the whole hub assembly, you can't just replace the seals? no one offers them at all. and new hubs are 150ish new from napa. so i just cleaned mine repacked them and pressed them back together.

but anyways it is really easy to do, just need a grinder and some time to cut the stock caliper mouting points off of the spindles, find a conversion bracket, bolt it all together and reassemble on the truck. of course you'll have to get new brakelines but they are super easy to build if you get lines and fittings, then you can cut to fit perfectly.

very very easy

I just bought the seals today from Advance Auto and put them in. Ive got the conversion bracket. Just need the bolts to secure to the caliper to the conversion brackets.
