Thats "ate up" ??? If that bothers you then wait till I post the pics of the camaro that was said to be "rust free" that I bought off the "club footed wonder" from Youngstown, OH.

I shoulda just said the hell with it and flogged him with his own cane for wasting my time.

IMO it's a rustbucket. If it looks that bad under the hood,I imagine the chassis resembles the wreckage of the Titanic.

looks like the a/c compressor is getting ready to go or has gone. didn't read the description so maybe he replaced it. look at all the goop on the side of the belt tensioner.

That's how under my hood looks (except for the latch cable attachment) but my chassis probably looks brand new. I say probably b/c the previous owner sprayed about 200#s of undercoating all over it :fist:

That's not that bad as far as rust is conscerned. It looks to be nothing but surface rust. The price they are asking for it on the other hand...

As soon as my brother gets in town I will get some pics of my 64k mile Sy with its rust. Then you will really see what rust is. Just to give you a idea its condition I have had to replace brake lines because they rusted in two and leaked. Body has cladding held on by a prayer. That truck looked perfect compared to mine.
Sy #166 and yes I am orginal owner also.

Why else would you buy a AWD vehicle, for the snow right?

In the salt belt of Vermont, this truck would be rusted so bad, it would have been in a junkyard 3 years ago. Trust me, that's where my '91 S-10 blazer is now. That is NOTHING for rust. Wish I lived in Tenn. where we didn't have to worry about rust..... :-?
