Re: Fuel Pump

Walbro 255lph is what you're looking for.

Also be sure to delete the pulsator from the fuel pump hanger and replace it with the short section of EFI fuel line you get in the box with the pump.

The pulsator is made of plastic and has been known to crack and leak off pressure when running higher than stock fuel press.

Yup I guess that I'm an old timer, still look to Ron Gregory's company Auto Performance Engineering for Walbro fuel pumps, intercooler pumps and products made by Phil Chiver's (driveshaft safety loops and hood prop eliminator kits) since he has been around even before I got my truck.

As Jas mentioned, be sure to "lose" the pulsator when you do the swap (that's it to the left of the fuel pump):

"Pulsator that is removed during fuel pump swaps, the short length of rubber hose is used to replace it. Hose gets clamped from the output of the pump to the fuel line on the sending unit."

Re: Fuel Pump

If it was used then its understandable.

Once the pump gets submerged in fuel it should not be allowed to dry out.
the seals will fail.

So you bought a "used" fuel pump? That isn't recommend because once the pump isn't submerged in gas, the seals will dry out. I have the old pump out of my old daily driver that I wrecked earlier this year in a mason jar filled will gas since it was only about a year old. This was done to prevent that from happening.
