first of all - i DID a search but i'm afraid i'm a dumba$$
... let me start from scrap - just received my electrical full sweep fuelpress gauge from mike, read the installing and what i don't understand is :
on the cable there are connectors on each end , ok so far - but there are also 3 loose cables to hook up anywhere (ign, 12V dash , ground)
will the gauge work (autometer ultralite 2 series btw) without hooking up the loose cables (i don't really want gauges to be illuminated) ???
if not :
where to find ground is clear, but ignition ?
i read that it is possible to take some "channels" on the fuse box (dimmer or so i think ?) - when going this way, is it ignition or 12V ?? and where will i find the other one (either ign or 12V dash ??)
please help me out with answers
TIA,pat.
