my buddies got an rx7 that he was gonna do somethin w but didnt so now he has a garret to4e 60 trim p trim turbine .84 a/r. i kno the turbine section is inapropriate but the compressor may just work, can the center sections be changed to water cooled and also a tial 44mm wastegate would that work w stock setup or this?

pretty sure the rpm stage 1 turbo is a to4e 57 trim p on sytyperformance.com so i don't see why it wouldn't work.

T04E is the compressor housing, 60-1 is the trim of the wheel, but technically that doesn't really tell you what compressor wheel you have. Many turbo builders use the 59mm 60-1 trim wheel, but with import they often cut them down and clip them.

The SyTy PTE52 use T04E 59mm 60-1 trim wheel, with what I think is a P-Trim turbine wheel, and SyTy speficic 0.85 Exhaust Housing with a T3 flange. The center center is usually just oil cooled.

If its a 57mm or uncut 59mm, it might be worthwhile if you can just swap exhuast housings, but I wouldn't get into swaping senter sections, wheels, ect. you going to be into the turbo for more than its worth if you start having to have every balanced, machined.
