Getting a Ty weighed?

Anyone have a recommendation for a place to get my Ty weighed? Preferrably some place in the vicinity of Silver Spring, MD (mid-MD, just north of DC).

I'd like to find out how much this brick weighs, but have no idea where to go to find out.

Some full service truck stops have mini scales.

Or just pull into a weight station alongthe highway and ask the tropper if he'll give you 2 minutes on the scale.

Our track has a scale but its closed unless its a big name event.
I have yet to weigh in as well.

Weighed mine @ 3 places.....local dump/recycling center.....weigh station on I-16......Silver Dollar Raceway.

The guy @ the weigh station was so excited to see something other than a Kenworth or Freightliner (you were right John), that he was more than happy to weigh my truck. Got different readings from all 3, so I averaged them.

Prolly a good idea to get more than one reading (esp. from weigh stations) as the scale/range of weight is a little high sometimes (i.e. increments of 50 or 100 lbs.).

And Ed's truck is just as heavy, w/out the extra weight in the back. I wonder how much faster he would be if his truck weighed as much as the avg Syclone...
