:D I'm happy. I dropped off my lower intake when i picked this up this morning, so I'll have some pics to share of the outcome of that too.

That looks great....if it were me I would either powder coat it or have it dipped in crome. It would be easy to clean too. Al Dustan had his powder coated and it looked awsome. They even did the syclone letters in red.

Its a good thing you got it glass beaded....sand+intake=bad running truck

Looks good.. I would suggest plugging the EGR and re-routing the PCV system or it wont be long and the internals will look the same again

I know when I go back with my JS Intake its not gonna have either setup, anyhow just an idea. Looks good now.. Post pics when its polished !! I wanna see !! I love to drool

I think, mill the top where the lettering is and the mounting bosses just enough to bring a shine and square them up. Then get it cleared to make cleanup easy.

So why can't one sandblast the intake, and take a compressor to clean it out?

Just curious, cuz I have a sandblaster, and was thinking of doing that.

Thanks,

NO reason at all.. As long as you clean it out.. Rinsing with water should be acceptable also.. As long as the media is gone before re-installation.
