GMC/SYTY LOGO RESOURCE *updated*

Thanks to Eric (smaug) and Morgan(NJTy180), we have now added a page on the NASTE website for you all to be able to download vector and enourmously large versions of many popular GMC and Syclone/Typhoon related logos. There are 3 different filetypes offered:

.ai - Adobe Illustrator (version 9)
.eps - Adobe Illustrator, but importable into almost any design software (version 9)
.gif - universal web format, very very large size files, good for those without design software.

Each of the logos has been redrawn painstakingly by myself to be as dead-on accurate as possible. They have been drawn in a way that would allow anyone to bring the vector versions to a vinyl shop and have decals cut without problem. Currently the following logos are available:

Syclone
Typhoon
GMC Truck tailgate decal
NASTE Syclone logo
NASTE Typhoon logo
New NASTE universal/prototpye

The following are on the drawing board pending me getting good enough files to work with:

GMC Truck Motorsports
PAS
Intercooled (for throttle body plate)

okay, five more on the drawing board:

Sonoma GT - anyone who owns one ore can high res scan the decal, it would be much appreciated

Indy Pace Truck - Brian Merklinger, let's talk about you getting me some good pictures or files of your decal set

4.3 Turbo (below Syclone on the intake manifold) - going up to smap a picture now for reference

SoCal SyTy - bdubb, any chance you can hunt down a better version than that. in fact, in know there was a guy (drew i think was his name), with a huge socal decal going up the whole side of his typhoon. talk to him or get me in touch. if its already been cut as a decal, it is already in a good format. just need to find out where it came from...

Sportmachines - can anyone on that team set me up with your logo?

so keep any logical suggestions coming, i love the challenge (as long as i have a good enough file to work off of). now i'm off to F with my intercooler some more, try and get the teeny throttle body hose to stop blowing off.

*UPDATE* just added vector files of my fabled "got boost?" decal. the decals i have been making are 4" in length, so if anyone needs the file to have decals cut on your own, make sure to size the image down in illustrator.

Also, I STILL NEED HELP attaining source images to work off of. I am going to try Brian Merklinger for some things, but anyone with an un-applied SONOMA GT decal, please email or PM me. I need to work on getting a good source inmage of that.

Seriously, I want to be able to host as many perfect versions of our logos as possible, make sy-ty.com into a resource for this kind of stuff. If you have any ideas, keep them coming...

I have some decent Sonoma GT logo's that I used to make a replacement from. The demention aspect ratio is correct but the edge lines aren't perfect. I do a LOT of graphics work and may be able to clean them up a bit. I just didn't have the time before.

I also have contacts that can make ANY vinyl image including the "see-thru" aplications for rear windows that seem to be the new craze. Full color images of just about anything.

Mike, i gotta thank ya again for goin through all the trouble of sending me countless syclone images about a year ago. Mikes vector images eff'n rule!i took them to a laser etching shop, and had a syclone outline etched into plexiglass... came out perfect! maybe ill get around to postin some pics.

Does anyone know who made the "stangbuster" magnets? I had one and it got jacked. it would be cool if it could be made into vinyl decal or something. But, i don't know who made them and i don't want to piss anyone off. anyone know who? could we get a vector file of this?

he still does sell them if you contact him.....


i WOULD NOT reproduce his design on a magnet...... trust me on this.

any possibility of fabricating a new logo with the letters you already have?

or do any socal guys have a copy of the original logo?
