I am glad I made this decision. They look outstanding. It was about $640 dollars including shipping. It was cheaper than ZR-1s too.

Santa Ana plating was the company that did them, if you ever need anything chromed I would definately recommend them. Their website is: http://www.santaanaplating.com/index.htm

Not yet. Probably going to keep them for now. If I do decide to sell they will go on ebay.

WOW!!!! Looks great! I was considering Z06's/ZR1's but I like this much better. And at $95 per wheel and $15 per center cap! I might do it on my syclone. What's the turn around time? Keep us updated on any problems as far as quality.

oh yeah, if I ever have a Typhoon, I'd do that process. Probably try have my wrecked Typhoon's wheels repaired and then chromed. Its only slightly bent and scratched.

Know anyone that does good repairs on them?

Thanks

Someone here on the board had good results with www.aaarims.com which isn't too far from here. $125/wheel to repair and refinish them. Not sure if they'd give you a discount for not refinishing them.

Well it takes about a week to get them out there from the midwest. I had them back in about one month including shipping and everything. Just gotta remember shipping is costs the most. It is about a hundred each way.

I thought about going with a ZR-1 type rim but by the time you pay for tires (17 inch) you are at about $1500-2000. Don't get me wrong ZR-1's look fantastic, but when you are on a budget this is definately the way to go IMO.

Tim - Looks Great !

Yeh, I've had stuff done @ SA Plating and they R good. The only problem is that I need 17" wheels in the front to get the 13" Baer rotors in.
