After I spent more time fixing the new tranny leak from the cooling lines I took my Ty for a spin to get gas. On the way I hit some railroad tracks and my cars instantly shorts and loses all power: dash, stereo, lights, and engine. I was pissed to find out that I forgot to reroute the starter cable when I took down the original tranny lines. The starter wire got stuck in between the new braided lines and landed on the wastegate piping. Had to get a tow back home 2miles away, thank AAA. The guy tested my battery told me I fried it. Bought a new battery and starter wire, got power. But she will not stay on... I was informed that if I grounded out the battery the alternator dies too. Any suggestions... I'm hurting
