GT35r internal wastegate boost control catless

I am running a GT35r, internal wastegate, with the catted PTE downpipe. Its a built motor with 412 cam and vortec heads. If I run a cat delete, will the boost spike out of control? I'll be using an AEM TruBoost soon.

This truck has been sitting for a while and things are not pretty. I'll put pics up when everything is cleaned up a bit.
