Re: headers wont fit

I have Edelbrock headers on my 2wd, & when I changed out the steering shaft for a solid jeep shaft, the upper part of the shaft lightly hit the back top of the headers. Ran the truck to heat up the headers & tapped on the exhaust at the contact point to cause a slight dent. Clears now. No trouble on the passenger side, Just a tight fit.

Re: headers wont fit

According to everything I've seen, they're for 2wd trucks. What are you putting them in?
they are going on my SGT.

i dont think that will work with these, i have way to far to go to clear steering shaft. i need a good 3/4" to 1" to clear. passenger side contacts the trans line and are an extremely tight fit. and to top things off i just pulled the wire out of the plug for CPI injector.:banghead: i had another plug that laid around forever and now i cant find it. i give up for today. i might just go fishin.;)
