Long time lurker, first time poster, I have to abandon my project and have a few typhoon parts. All parts are stock from a 93 typhoon that was wrecked. I kind of have an idea for prices, could you help me out? I have the following:

Complete motor with broken crank - $800?
rebuilt trans - $300?
transfer case - $150?
rear differential - $100?
uncut wiring harness and ecm - $300?
exhaust manifolds - $200?
one door in decent shape - $50?

thanks for your time.

I think the trans is a little more valuable if it's a SY/TY specific rebuild.. other than that I think you're on the mark with going rates on the other stuff.

What exactly broke on the crank? if one of the rod ends broke then I'll bet there's damage to the bottom of the cylinders... Just saying.

my :2cents:

the instake is the only part worth anything on the motor

rear diff is worthless

door if it has the mounting cups save them and scrap the door

:shocked!: that's decent priced for everything :2cents:. I mean with the exception of a broke motor but I'm thinking for a Ty :turbo: motor broke or not I'd buy it just for the setup.

Thanks for your help. To answer some questions:

1) I will try and get some pics this weekend
2) Im located in denver, co
3) would need some help on how to ship this stuff
4) the trans was built for the tys power
5) I guess if you cant pick-up then paypal would work best
6) The motor is complete with all brackets, injectors, turbo, intercooler, I do have the VIN # of the ty it came out of

Hey,

I may be interested in the trans. Not sure if it would pay to ship it across the country, tho, when Waller is an hour from my house. Still, would be interested in the spefics of the trans build--what was done, by whom, any receipts available, and if the trans has been tested/run, to make sure it works.

Thanks.

Best,
