High lb RPM wastegate Actuator

I need a higher lb actuator for the rpm turbonetics turbo. I called and spoke with Mike, he didn't have any in stock but said he had one he could modify. I can't get a hold of him and my truck is literally bolted to the dyno.

RPM said they offered a 12-14lb actuator which will do. If you got one, let me know. I need it ASAP.

Yeah, but you can only run double of the actuator.. which is 15-16lbs.. I want 22-24lbs.

I have been tying to find one also. Do you have the part number for the one you found at ATP?

Thanks. That looks great. Will you please post back here after you get it installed? I want to see how well it fits and works before I buy one. I wonder if the rod is long enough? It looks like they do make a extension rod if needed.

Rod length wasn't a problem at all. Had to make a bracket to bolt to the housing. Only took about 1.5hrs to disassemble, make the bracket and re-assemble.

That's great. I'm gonna order one of those. Did none of the brackets they sell fit on your turbo? Or did you just want to make your own bracket?

I didn't even look at the brackets... Let me look there and they might have one. I'll post back in a few minutes!

The bracket we built looks similar to this, although I don't think this one will work.

We took a washer that fit perfectly over the actuator, and tig welded an "L" type bracket to it that would bolt up to the housing. It wasn't super complicated. I will say, I would go with a straight actuator and not one that's offset, it will be easier for placement.

You'll be able to make one no problem.
