That picture of the wheel looks like it is the 17" prototype wheels. It doesn't look like the 16" (notice the air valve inlet)

The marker lights in the bumper are positioned differently as well

It's a 1990 article. Also, the glovebox emblem said S10 but it's obscured by the flash so I think this is an article before the truck was in production. Pretty pleased to have found it!

I was also intrigued to discover that the speedos were made in England!

If I remember correctly, two years I grabbed some Delco windshield washer pumps from a junkyard Jimmy that were also made in England.

In the picture moving, the Sy is wearing black wheels, but they show the stock versions in the still pic
