how do I get to the ECM?

I'm having a hard time locating the ECM to put in a modded chip. I've taken the access door out of the glovebox and nothing. Its a 1993 Typhoon. Can someone please give me a step by step on how to get to this thing.

better to get it running right, stock, first. By the time you have done that, you will have more then enough mechanical ability to find the ECM

lay with your head where your feet would normally be in the passenger seat. look up. There may or may not be a trim cover here (There should be I think). Remove the trim cover. You will then see a metal bracket with one screw. Remove this screw and gently lower the computer down minding the wires that are connected to it. I haven't done this in a while, but it should be enough to get you going.

Why so much chatter? The guy asked a simple question. Why is that people need to respond with their opinion rather than the answer to the question? Props to Jimmy for answering first without any BS.

I didn't know where my ECM was and asked in chat last night.

The SyTy.net search results aren't exactly Google.

I have pulled my ECM many times, and I hate it each time. The part about replacing the heater core that I dreaded the most was shoving the ECM back in.
