Ya, it's got a Turbo
Well, one more Syclone has made its way to North to Canada. I don't want to call my trip "uneventful", but that's what it was. Sure, I got to drive my new Turbocharged toy for nearly 1400 Km and thoroughly enjoyed every Km (except for a pothole the size of a Buick in PA), I developed a love for my boost gauge and it took every ounce of strength I had to stay out of the "boost" range to ensure a safe trip home, and I discovered why everyone says these trucks are "fun to drive".
First - a big thanks to Lee (turrrbo 6) for going out of his way to help with the sale. Everything from helping me get temp tags to insisting we change the oil before my trip home. Lee, you were awesome Dude!
Customs was the easy part. One stamp from the US Customs Office and then into Canada Customs to pay the fees. The hardest part was trying to catch a few zzzz's in the Sy while I waited for US Customs to open. They have bankers hours, so no matter how slow I drove I knew I was going to have some time to kill. Ever tried sleeping in your Sy, when you're 6' 2"?
A few pictures of my trip to follow and the rest is history. I'm sure I'll be trading SyTy stories in no time.
P.S. Hey Lee, you forgot to throw in those axle stands that are supposed to come with the purchase of any used Sy. :rotf:
Thanks again Buddy!

Raining in Virginia
Big Walker Mountain Tunnel
Damn traffic jams!
Got Boost?
Rest area in WV. Still pretty clean even after all that rain...
