You can definately do it with it on. Remove the 4 bolts that hold the rail to the lower intake, and gently wiggle it while pulling up. Just be sure to account for all of the O rings, and to seat them properly when reinstalling.

I suppose. But for me it would not be worth the frustration. You're almost there anyway by the time you have the upper IC and TB removed. You're not gonna get the fuel manifold out of the way without the upper intake off anyway. Besides the inj o-rings, which rarely come off the inj's, there is a little seal in the connector that falls out also. All my :2cents: Never actually tried it this way. :roll:
