Intercooler expansion tank??

Guys,
Should there be an expansion reservoir for the intercooler? If there should be, my truck doens't have it!

yes it uses the same tank as the radiator but with a seperate hose connecting it. it doesnt work like it should so I wouldn't worry abuot hooking it up.

Is it stock? or modded.. How long have you owned it?

Might want to check to make sure you have coolant in the system then, I've noticed mine eats about a qt. of coolant every year. (read- my system does not leak.)

Yes it is stock, and I've had it for about two months now. There is a stub for a hose on the cap neck, but I can't find (or missed) a corresponding stub on the coolant tank!

Here is a picture of the hose running from the intercooler to the tank. Sorry I don't have a shot of it entering the overflow tank.

Where it enters the tank there's a little bulkhead fitting that's removable and inside there a short hose that dips to the bottom.
