I did this yesterday to get all the air outa my IC after changing the coolant.. I works pretty good.

I changed my coolant and filled it up thinking everything was gunna be fine. Then I came on here and read about all the air pocket problems people have. I have the key on with the pump running and apparently the pressure from the coke bottle filled with water helps force the air out. It still took awhile but it works. have two or three on hand ready to go for quick change out. and have you system filled as much as you can before you start your pump...oh and yes it will be spilling out a little. Just park over grass.

no I filled it with water and with the pump running I dumped it on there. Whenever air bubbles out it forces some antifreeze mixture back into the bottle that's why the water is greenish. eventually the bottle empties out as air leaves the system water immediately fills the cooler.

I bought one for work, and its saved me countless time and grief. Screw on the right size cap and adapter, pop the funnel on, and let it do it's thing. Even has a plug to put in when it's done and there's still coolant in the funnel.
