Intergrator at 140-150 at cruise

Hey guys,
My integrator reads 140-150 at a cruise. Does this mean Im running to lean and the computer is increasing injector pulse width. Could this be a possible fuel deliver problem(injector)?? I am currently dealing with a KR problem?? Fern Sy#477

The integrator is a factor in your blm's, which affect fuel delivery. There are only 2 blm cells....open and closed throttle.

Is cruise where you are getting the knock retard? You were talking about disconnecting the turbo to IC hose in the other post.

What rpm and boost level (MAP) is it knocking? How much kr?

Jim,
Only get knock at WOT, like I said in the other post it is very inconsistant. One day it'll be 12 and the other it will be 4 degrees of knock. And I tried relating the KR to high RPMs and High boost but it doesnt seem to follow a pattern. It doesnt Knock any worst at shift points of high RPMs, nor at high boost. Its very inconsistant. I didnt really understand you explaination of the BLM and intergrator?? At WOT, the computer has preset values for fuel delivery and does not deliver fuel according to the o2, right??

Think of integrator as a short term fuel correction. Over time, changes in the integrator affect your blm. BLM's are figured into the fuel delivery equation. Integrator numbers are not figured in directly, only as a contribution to the blm.

For example, if you see 140 on your integrator, that does not mean there is any fuel correction going on. It only means that is considered in the BLM correction.

I don't think I explained that very well. For details go to: http://www.sunflower.com/~leroy/P4/section9.htm and read the section on closed loop correction.

WOT is fixed unless the BLM for open throttle shows a lean condition. In that case, the BLM becomes a multiplier.

If you are convinced the problem is inconsistent, I would suspect an ignition problem. You might try a tighter plug gap. Pickup coil, ignition module been replaced?

Neither pick up coil or ignition module have been replaced, thats about the only thinks left. I have done all the resistance check that the mannual states for them??
