this is on my 92 is this stock? cause i think i like the all blk on my 93?

Looks like a factory grill with black letters installed. I cant remember where but i have seen them for sale before. So the grill id say yes but lettering isn't.

those are 92 letters 93 wernt special enough to get them from PAS

Regarding your question on the grille.

92 Ty grilles have painted headlight and grille centers, just like a Syclone
93 Ty grilles were solid color (whatever the truck color is).


Your particular truck looks like it has been repainted due to the color is very light from what it normally should be.

I thought so. My 92 grille should be a satin black right? the 93 are gloss. this looks more like a dark silver so it has been painted I take it. anyone want to trade, I want an all black one. I love the Sinister look.?? thanks guys for the info.

my truck is a syclone. it has black letters and also a black front with silver in the light area. maby these are LMC replacments?

Stock sy grille has painted inserts as well.

haha thats great lets see my two brother have mustangs, one an lx the other a saleen, moms benz, brothers jeep and etc. the ty was in the drive way and my brother has a gt mustang in the garage too for sale? anyone?

as far as i know- could be wrong now but

red letters are stock on a 92 Ty grill
black is a dealer option-like in the brochure pics

Black letters were used for roughly the first half of the '92 production year. Here is an GM internal memo discussing the change that was to take place.

After reading what? I cant find the thread I was looking for that I thought DaveP started, where they figured out about where the change took place on the assembly line.
