Just a quick heads up guys about #1006

Whats up guys, been poppin in here and there but I just wanted to give you guys a heads up.

Chances are inside the next few months #1006 will be going up for sale.
Those of you that know the truck can vouch for the condition. It currently has around 5,500 miles. I have some parts that will go with it and if not will be sold at a later date.

I'm giving the heads up now, in case a fellow member wants to make some moves financially for it or if a fellow member knows somebody that would appreciate a truck like this. It also gives me some time to get it ready for viewing.

Reason for this: Nothing financial or anything like that. I recently qualified for my Comp License and getting/building a dedicated racecar. Rather than have it sit in storage I think it would make a nice addition to someones collection.

Those of you that want to broker a deal or something for someone, let me know.

Depends on how it gets sold (auction, word of mouth, etc) 30k ballpark but strong offers considered.

If you haven't seen #1006 in person you really need to. It is one of the two nicest original SyTy's that I've ever seen and I've been around the goofy trucks for 15+ years.

My question as well?? " What kind of Comp car are you looking to drive??" I was on the phone with Vinny Barone Monday night. I am building a roadster like his to run B/SR so for the most part, good luck and welcome to the Comp world where" your performance IS your invitation".....

Comp car? Now there's an expensive class to run competively. I've been around racing my whole life and that's just one class that seems silly to me. I'm friends with the Aragona's and the amount of money they spend be competitive is absurd. Even with championships to their credit its a losing battle. Never the less, good luck with the sale and the racing plans!

Sorry, I should have clarified, Comp License = Competition License for Road Racing...SCCA, NASA, etc

What I'm driving, I haven't made up my mind yet but I'll either build out my current CTS-V or build/buy something such as a Z06 or Gen 5 Camaro

Good Luck.... I ran Comp in the 80's and 90's with a Hemi powered A/Dragster, even back then it took every dollar I had to qualify for an event. Now a days you better own a few profitable businesses to run Comp competitively and even that is no guarantee for success. Build a Top Sportsmen car.......

Believe me, it is a one time shot. Running Stock and Super Stock are not that cheap when you can go a second under the index. Its like anything else, it all takes money!!!!!!!
