just got my Typhoon!

Hi all, I just picked up a 92' Typhoon and I have a few basic questions. I need alot of interior pieces to restore it, where is the best place to get these? also how do I find out what # it is? I think it's in the vin number but not sure which ones. thanks ahead of time and I look forward to picking your brains during this resto :tup:

interior pieces you'll have to look around for used pieces

# is the last for digits of the vin

Much of the interior is the same as a Jimmy, Bravada, Blazer, S10 or S15. Depending on the part.

Has anybody tried painting the interior plastic. I have some that are just faded, is there a paint to match the grey interior?

For general S10 interior pieces, hit the junk yard or if you want new ones..... www.lmctruck.com

For syty specific interior pieces, the for sale section and Ebay.com are your friends.

I painted mine all semigloss black.. looks great. The only thing to be very sure of is to prep everything well... I had one or two spots I did not prep 100% that flaked off... fixed now

are you a donating member? I think that being a donating member lets you have bigger avatars/sig.. also make sure you sig isnt saved as a bitmap or another large extention. If you want just paste a link to your sig and I'll resize it for you
