Knockoff BOVs

e.i.
Is anyone running a knockoff brand BOV. I saw a couple different styles on siliconeintakes for $50, and a couple on ebay for $100. Compared to $200~$400 for a brand name one. I dont need one, just throught it would be cool.

Any thoughts?

Re: Knockoff BOVs

I would be leary of them. The really cheap ones leak or dont open very well. I bought a $50 turboXS one just to try out and its just a paper weight now.

I had a Greddy I used in a pinch. It was pretty piss poor. As was stated, it leaked and didn't open very well.

Re: Knockoff BOVs

i have about 4 cubic inches left open in my engine bay, and a $50 BOV would be a good space filler. I changed ICs and theres some spare room.

I'm looking for opinions like Mike's, regarding quality of knockoffs of the brand name ones. Not neccesarrily difference between different model BOVs (there like a million posts on a million forums about it).

Thanks guys.
