Let off the gas and go very lean...

asrnj77

..hard to swallow
So I've got the new chip in..basically I burned Wyo's 40lb bin for my 40lb injectors and it seems to be running well but at highway speeds when I let off the gas it will go way lean on the wideband (like off the chart lean) for a few seconds and then jump back. What's going on here? I haven't had time to do a tunerpro log or dm file but wondering if somebody recognizes this...thanks

Decel-enleanment.
It would be the opposite of accel-enrichment.
Don't need power when coasting so we pull fuel to save gas.

100% normal, as long as truck feels smooth its fine.

If the ecm didn't pull fuel the next time you got on the gas you would be PIG rich. So it serves more than to save gas.

What they said. It's supposed to do that.

As long as you don't get an up/down/up surge during that time, it's ok.
