it attaches between the fuel line and the fuel rail. The fiting has the same pipe thread as a
sender unit so removing the schrader valve and using the hole for the sender is
easy. In some applicatons you could put it on the filter between it and the
line to the rain. I got it because i was worried about the alum nipple on the fuel
rail and it also gave me more options for location.
The knurled collar rotates 360 deg (I have it pointed straight up) to allow any positon
