Is everyone using blocks or should I go with leaf springs. Low and slow is one thing, but low and fast? Anyone have trouble with blocks? Thanks for the input.

Re: lower the rear end ?

In my opion, 1" is ok, 2" is pushing it, but the best is new lowered leafs like Belltech's.

Re: lower the rear end ?

I was thinking that would be best, does 2" level the truck pretty well? Or do you need more, it looks high.

Re: lower the rear end ?

Both my Sy and Ty had 2" blocks in the back, never had any problems with them. Rode like crap since it bottomed out early, but never had any axle wrap issues under hard accel. Are you lowering a Sy or Ty? If it's a Ty you need to pull the "ELC" fuse to disable the air ride in the back and change the shocks. Sys don't have it, so nothing to worry about.

Its a sy, Thanks for the help guys I think 2" blocks look to put the truck where I want it. Its not a drag truck anyway so I should be fine.
