It's not going to work out how you expect it to. The front calipers have a larger fluid volume.

I know the Lap One Typhoon that T-Bone owned had them and they seem to work really good in the AutoX.
Another guy with a newer model s10 on the s10 forum had some too.

Shouldn't be a problem, but you might need custom brackets.
You will need a brake proportioning valve, but you should have one with rear disks anyways. The volume needed to move the pistons is more, but then so do wheel cylinders.
Mostly its not done as its just overkill. Why spend the money for big huge disks, big calipers, etc when the rear brakes do so little compared to the front. Better to spend the money on the front. But you already have them, so its not like your spending anything, so why not.

What rotor are you thinking of using?
The factory rear LS1 Camaro rotor is so "narrow" for lack of a better word, I'd imagine about a 1/3 of the front caliper pad would be hanging off the rotor, unless you plan on using something like C6 Grand Sport or Z06 rotors.

Why not just us a standard front rotor?
Sure, its bigger and wider than the typical rear rotor, but those are good things. The pad contact surface would then be correct, as would the thickness of the rotor.
The biggest problem I can see would be the location. will the offset of a front rotor put it in the proper place for the caliper? It can be, but the bracket needed might be more complicated than the simple flat brackets typically used.
