LS2 1500hp+ Syclone build

I´m reading on this forum for some time now.
And I´ve leared a lot.

Finally I decided to radically modify my Syclone 1GDCT14Z4M8801391.

Plans are to put down as much hp as the front diff and transfer case will
let me.
We´ll see how much hp that will be :)

As the Syclone was in pretty bad shape (at least for my taste), I decided
to totally strip it and start from 0.

I will try to get pictures from everything important.
I enjoyed reading others threads, so I hope some others now enjoy reading mine.
I´ll keep theis thread updated as often as I have time to do so.

Basically this is what I do:

LS2 engine, special buit to handle 2000hp

built transfer case (yes, I will try to still run 4WD)

built 4L80E

Motec M800 ECU

2 x Garret GTX 4202 with tial housing

special built rear axle

4 link on special built rear frame

Rust, dirt and oil everywhere.
Damaged here and there....

The preowners sure didn´t take care of that car :(

Re: LS2 1500hp+ Syclone build

We decided to totally strip it.

The frame got water blasted to get every dirt off it.

Then it got sand blasted, all welds were rewelded to strengthen the frame.

We cut the rear part and built a new rear frame with a 4 link setup.

At the end we had it galvanized and covered in epoxy.

Re: LS2 1500hp+ Syclone build

Custom built 12 bolt axle (some special parts in it and a detroit locker).

Some other stuff (RPM coil overs,...).

It´s more time and custom work involved than we thought it would.

This I have to see. Seems like you got money so hopefully you'll make through to your goal.

Is the rear bumper cladding cut up? Looks like Darth Vaders chest plate....

awesome. Definitely want to see how you're laying out the 4-link. What steering wheel is that by the way?

Sorry, don´t know what steering wheel that is.
It was on the car, when I got it.

The 4 link is installed now...and I´m sure it will be a lot of work to dial that in.

Re: LS2 1500hp+ Syclone build

No old, worn out parts, will go back into the car.
Everything will be new.
I want the steering to be as exact as possible.
