Manual Valve body?

Does anyone here have a manual valve body? I am considering doing it on my AWD Blazer. I'm just wondering if the 700r4 works good with a manual valve body. Does the manual valve body eliminate the TV cable?

manual does eliminate the tv cable and I have one in a sy I'm working on here now. I don't like it. but thats just me. it's full manual all the time. reverse pattern. pita to drive, if you drive yours any amount. always having to shift it. if you start out in the wrong gear you will probably burn it up.
