ok, well, i have gone through a total of a WHOPPING TWO MOTORS IN 5 YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW THATS ALOT, LOL.

After I worked on the truck and you received it, I heard from so many people that you were messing with it, the calibration, the ignition (Jacobs? come on), the wiring, everything, and were going to pin problems on Jerry.

well, if i didnt need ceramic plugs, then there would have been no problem, and if someone would have taken the time, besides myself, then there would ahve been no problem. why dont you just come out of your shell, who the hell is YOUR SOURCE for information. i dont even associate with anyone personally in the syty community, so the rumor mill abvoisly got the best of you, but i guess i dont care, beleive what you want to.

I heard you were running outrageous boost levels on pump gas. I heard you nearly overheated the motor on the way home one time.

i ran 15 psi max, is this outrageous?????someone please tell me? yes it nearly overheated, because of the chooch wiring job my McCoy. you should seen all the wires hanging out under the dash. look, i know you get alot of business from him, so of course you will support him, and i dont blame you, but seriously, you dont know me, so there really is no reason for you to talk to me, or about my expereinces, YOU WERE NOT THERE WITH ME, why would i lie? i dont know who gave me a bad rap along the way, but most of the people from ista i met were really nice, friendly people.

I heard you talk about having a problem, and hoping it would clear up, so you got into the throttle again. I'm sure you didn't share those situations with the new owner either

i cleared up any issues that i knew of with the new owner, you can ask him anytime. throttle? see i dont remember that. the surge problem was from burnt spark plug wires, but i corrected that.

Used parts? OMG, you worry about a set of 'used' valve covers or 'air intake system'? The plug wires I saw on the truck were brand spanking new.

YES, I DONT BELEIVE THIS IS GOOD BUSINESS. would you go pay for a 2002 Mustang and take home a 1996? no! THE PLUGS WERE OLD, see GREEN, you are FULL OF IT, you are in so tight, pull the stick out of your ass. i still got the old wires!

You have no clue what you are doing with Syty's, plain and simple, and are in no position to judge any work done.

I DIDNT JUDGE IT. i had a CERTIFIED mechanic, friend of the family, and owns and operates a shop here look into this and doument it for me, so you are right, i am no mechanic, but i do have connections.

You have made a ton of generalizations and many assumptions here as well.

NO MY FRIENDS, THEY ARE FACTS, there is evidence to supprt these assumptions.

I don't know if you were snowed into believing that yours was bulletproof, don't know better, or what...

no, but i t should hold up a little better than a couple hundrde highway miles.

The new owner blew up the motor... do you have any specifics on this?

The valvetrain seems to be the source of most issues with Jerry's motors, and I'm not sure what the story is on this.

It seems as though you are dealing with a lot of data that is questionable in its factual information, while leaving out a lot more of the story

If your post was made by you to provide the new owner of your truck some peace of mind that you weren't at fault for the engine's demise, I'm sorry for any personal insults.

Ceramic plug boot wires weren't needed. No Jacobs' parts should have been used. I've dealt with many trucks running headers, and solved all of their issues. The problem was misdiagnosed or solved incorrectly, I can't tell you which because I didn't deal with that issue.

No, if it's the truth, but it wasn't what I was told, by different sources who I trust.

Has nothing to do with business. Truthfully, there are a lot of days I want to quit selling chips. Too much time invested that is financially not worth it. Don't claim I'm doing this for the financial backing by his customers.

I am missing what bearing this has with the situation. I know some of the history of your truck, much of its recent history, and I have been made aware of many of its recent problems/incidents.

If you say so. I saw brand new wires on the truck when I was there. Maybe they were replaced when they were troubleshooting issues. Maybe they were replaced with known good ones when they found the J&S setup that some other shop hid in the truck previously, and you forgot to mention (or more likely didn't know about at all). Moot point really IMO. Plug wires are plug wires, and an expendable resource that is replaced all too often on these trucks. I don't think that Jerry put new wires on your tab then installed used ones, I'm pretty sure there were some extenuating circumstances involved as I was talking to him about your truck when he was troubleshooting it, and replacing parts to see what was causing the rev-limit like issue. He probably put in a 'used' distributor - also known as a 'known good' part trying to figure out what was going on with the ignition... he did that kind of work for a week, called me about it several times when he was questioning the FAST. Then he found the J&S system hidden up under the dash, which you weren't aware of from what I understand. Ever try to decipher someone else's electrical nightmare?

Were those the used ones you received? Or the new MSD ones I saw on it? Or the Jacobs? Did you do the Omnipak? That would have solved all yer problems.

What exactly did the CERTIFIED mechanic look into?
Used wires?
The newly blown up motor, which you know nothing about?
The fact that you drove the truck home spewing coolant, overheating?

Why the hell didn't you have this expert work on your truck then???

I don't know what you had the mechanic look at, since all you have posted about are exaggerations and gross assumptions.

"Yes Randy, whoever worked on your truck before McCoy did shoddy work, and left him a nightmare to go through."

ooops, that last one was the collective statement by any of the Syty peeps that know you. Go search through the archives, where I told you that you were going to blow up your truck without having any syty know-how. I guess you got rid of it just in time.
