Mr.Syclone and Bully at SY/TY Nats 2006

This is the final between mr.syclone and Bully at SY/TY Nats 2006. Of course mr.syclone won :) This race was very "dirty" and that was sad because I made so many friends, and we have the same interest in racing and SY/TY. I made my choice to ship my truck from Sweden to US to meet with my fellow racers/friends. But this is in memory lane now. Who knows, maybe I´m gonna show up in US again, with my truck!

I would LOVE to see Robert (aka Mr.Syclone) , John Frey (aka Bully Syclone), Jamie Hacking
Mike Callahan, Vinnie (Previously McCoy's Syclone), and John Gerber (Twin Turbo Ty)
appear at this year's Nationals. All are 9 seconds or faster by their postings.

Meeting and greeting folks is nice, but serious racing is BETTER! C'mon Man!!

I remember all the drama on syty.net way back then. If you ever make it back to the US, I hope I'm able to see your beautiful truck in person.

As someone that was rather close to the situation, this was one of the coolest weeks of my life and memories created for a lifetime I will never forget. At the same time it was no doubt in a very specific way one of the worst syty events I have ever personally been at with some things that happened in the background behind the scenes. To this day I still don't know exactly why and what the point was.

In the end though it was a great experience overall, and should it happen again I know for a fact should a few bad apples attempt to ruin an event they will be asked to leave. Syty events are all here for FUN and I learned a lot of things that weekend that I hope have helped me in making sure future syty events were fun for everybody involved.

In regards to Robert attending another Nationals , I would love to see the opportunity present itself again. Past drama should stay in the past . The thought of it rearing its head again would effect attendance IMO . Everyone is older and wiser , and more mature I'm assuming .

I can relate entirely to that Jeff as I think alot of hype was made out of something that wasn't really what people made it out to be. I am a close personal friend of John's and I know his passion for his truck is no different than Robert's. Unfortunately internet trash talk can get the best of everyone at some point or another.

Not sure if you remember me Jeff, but I rode with you in your typhoon back from the track when you attended your first ever nationals. The first nationals I attended was in '98 and it was a blast. Sean Morris and Andrew rolling into camp with the police right behind them lights flashing and all. If any of you were there I was the owner of the red Syclone with the bullethole in the passsenger fender. I'll dig up a picture if I have one.

The fact of the matter is I've watched what was once a respectful community become a very rude and inconsiderate one. Not sure this change came about from moving from a mailing list to a forum based, but I think some of the old timers can probably relate.
