Tach Flutter? Can you explain your problem for us? Ignition in general is problematic for our trucks. Did you just install MSD coil or 6al? Msd plug wires cap or dist?

I had a problem with the msd 6al. It made my truck run like it was pre detonating in one or more of the cylinders. After running for about 10 seconds the motor would act like a mis-fire, the tack would drop to 500 then shoot up to 1700, then work it's way back down to an idol at 1100. Then do it all over again. I took it off, the truck runs great now. Idol at 800.

Are you guys having problems running MSD wires? If not, you need to be. You guys that have had issues need to tell us what your set up is. Saying you have 6al doesn't mean much other than you have the box. What harness are you using? How do you have it wired up? Are you running the noise filter? I run a 6al box and the thing works flawlessly.
I run the adapter harness with noise filter and I also run the MSD coil with MSD wires. Plus mine is wired correctly :lol:
