guy at work just ran out and did this for me, i had not heard of it before

if you are also a stereogram newb cross your eyes and focous on the new middle 3d picture of the truck.. well i thought it was neat anyways

That is pretty nifty.

Now, what would be REALLY cool is if you could get video from those same two perspectives, with the truck slowly revolving. You could potentially make a stereogram animated GIF

its no surprise, your brain combines the two left and right images into one 3d image.

Maybe this won't work on a 19"+ monitor.
I am usually pretty good at focusing on two images, but its out of my league.

For those having a hard time, sit about 2 feet back from your monitor and hold your finger 2-3 inches from your face. Focus on your finger, and you'll notice a 3rd image developing in the middle of the two. Take your finger away and try to focus on the middle image.

The center image appears to be 3-D for those that can't see it.
Care to share how it's done? Looks like pics were taken from a slightly different angle.
I'd kind of like to do it with my truck.

just take one picture of what your left eye sees and one picture of what your right eye sees. the black border helps me know when i have them crossed completely

I've never been able to see stereograms, but I've never tried it this way either. :lol: I'll have to give it a try tonight. :tup:

Dang ... that should come with a disclaimer that by the time you finally see it you will have a migraine so take something before hand ... SNAP!! Seriously my freaking eyes hurt now ... DANG!!! :eyes:

I see 3 trucks, 2 of them blurry one kind of in 3D.
