Need a new diaper baby?

Browsing through a local dealers inventory, check it out. GNX brand spankin' new. I figured some of you GM Turbo fiends could appreciate it. Someone buy it before customrestore does. LOL.

You think the guy that bought this as an investment could of made more money investing in Microsoft or Dell back in 87'? Plus all the inflation, he barley doubled his money waiting all this time. I bet he told him self "In 20 years this will be worth $250,000"

Personaly, if I had the money, I'd spend $100K+ on a GT2 and drive the hell out of it.

A buddy of mine in North Carolina collects Grand Nationals (has about 30) and GNX's (has at least 4). He has one GNX that is even more pristine than this one - his still has the factory plastic on the seats and steering wheel, I think zero miles (maybe 1 or 2), and I think even has the original paper carpet protectors from the dealership! I think I've got some pics at work. His shop is crazy - 80 x120, commercial storage racks stuffed full of GN engines, trannys, etc. - makes your head spin when you walk into the place. Real nice guy on top of it :)

Steve wanted to see a couple of photos of my buddy's GNX and GN stuff. My friend doesn't want me to post too much for obvious reasons, but here are a few that will make a grown man drool :D

If you are buying cars just for the purpose of saving them you probably already have a couple of extra bucks and aren't worried about it being the best investment for your money :lol:

people who save cars for the future are not typically planning on sending thier kids to college with the money that they make off of selling them,
some people just love certain cars and want to see them saved for posterity.

The 9 mile GNX doesn't look to me like it was stored correctly....that brake caliper behind te wheel looks quite rusty??

Yeah, this guy just loves GN's. He drives three of them all the time, a few are absolutely low mileage, pristine cars in storage, and the rest are in various stages of rebuild... he's really into the GN community, but he's so quiet that probably no-one knows he's got all this cool stuff that he collects.

Yeah, I didn't really look that close at it when I was browsing because I am not intrested. I am in Houston, 20 years at 90% humidity does that to crappy steel. Oh well, I will tell the vendor that I need a 50% discount because of the Caliper :D

Cool Gnocide! Is the Ty yours? I haven't been to the garage in a while.... I wonder if that's the Snap-On cordless impact gun, sitting beside the Ty wheel, that he bought when we went to the flea market a few years back... good memories!

thats matts, rc let him build it there which is the new 100x100 building.

mine is still the one from greensboro(black and grey)from the way of ny city.
im in pa now and cant wait for a pittsburgh track rental (even though i use it often on test and tune}
