New engine build

Hello everyone,
I am about ready to start my first engine build for my sy.
Wake up this morning about 4 am and am bored so I decide to go tinker with the truck. I haven't really been driving it alot lately because of snow. Check the oil and there is anti freeze in there. Must have happened the last time I drove it, wastegate stuck and started to cut out before I noticed what was happening. That was about 2 weeks ago and parked it and let it sit until this morning. I hope to start tearing it down this weekend and see what I find. Wish me luck...

i think you better start to check everything before you tear down that engine, maybe your radiator got shot, or lower intake gaskets.
before you know it you will have everything apart and spent a shitload of cash on everything, without even knowing what is broken.
take your time now, it will help you in the long run.
get a sniffer tester or something.

You know that you can get oil in your crank case if the seal on your turbo goes out. It just drains down the other tube.

Disconnect the coolant lines from your turbo.

Drain your oil and rinse your engine out real good with diesel fuel (Don't start it). Drain the diesel. Keep the drain plug out.

Refill your radiator. Check to see if any of the radiator coolant starts running out the drain hole. If so, you got engine problems. May be as simple as a blown gasket.

Thanks for all the comments. There are alot of things I need to check before I tear it down. I will check everything I can before I tear down of course.
I will chech the stuff mentioned and see what I come up with. Thanks everyone.
