new fmic pics

first off im going big turbo over the winter and wanted to get a few supporting mods out of the way. i finished the fmic over thanksgiving and thought id see what you guys think, ive only got roughly $350 in the whole set-up and i think it turned out decent. thanks to renz for the wastegate mount and epix for the idea. i also wrapped up my ls1 rear discs ill have pics up a little later of those.

Damn it I wish one of you guys who did this diy a2a would still have ac, and make a soild cold pipe from the TB to the IC so I can have you make me one. :lol:

Its a complete bitch finding someone who can bend pipe around me. Without it looking like exhaust pipe.. :roll:

I don't have ac but I did have a board member hook me up with a solid up pipe for my front mount project. In this pic you can see the up pipe he made me

also...take a bunch of pieces of alum or exh tubing and fabricate the cold pipe the way you want it.....tack weld all the pieces together and send it to me and i'll have my guy bend you a solid piece using yours as a template.

thats how i made my solid hot side pipe, buy a few 3" u-bends and make it fit, i used alot of bologna cuts to make the tight bends but if you do it right it flows almost as good as a mandrel bend.

Just go on ebay and buy mandrel u bends they should have plenty of pipe and bend to make what you will need. Just cut and weld them back together to make it fit what you need. :2cents: that is what I do and it looks factory.
