new typhoon owner

I'am new to the forum and I have recently bought a 93 typhoon out of London Ontario Canada. It came up from the states in 96 and I'am the 4th owner. It has 43000 original miles on it but have a couple of major problems that I don't know where to start
1) trouble code #31
2) loud jerking clicking sound when the front drive shaft is in
3) temp gouge never registars

Currently money is tight and I'am slowly working on one problem at a time. I have only had it since may and the exhaust already fell off not a good start but that is now fixed with stainless. If anyone could shoot some idea's out, but make them clear so that 5th grader could understand as I'am new to owning a turbo :lol:

Thanks, I sold the Monte ss after having it for 14 years, and bought this typhoon the next day... less then 24 hour .. I guess the money was burning a hole in my pocket or it was because it was the only one for sale in Canada at the time

Thanks for your input, I have been searching through the archives, doing research about the codes. I live in Welland Ontario, about 25 mins from Niagara Falls New York

Check all your vacuum lines and replace with silicone, you can use tie wraps for the clamps.
