It's in...and guess what....fits like a glove.....this is what gm should have built.....not a single mod to the headers, DP or AC bracket.

That's pretty sweet. How fast is the Stock DP good for before it becomes a major restriction? I have never been convinced to expect any big gains from switching to a 3". What exhaust housing is that? Is it a Mitsubishi? Will the wastegate be efficient enough? I don't like how it exits back into the turbine housing instead of dumping directly into the downpipe like a PTE would. But I'm interested because I'd like to upgrade my turbo without having to pay PTE hundreds of dollars for a fat downpipe that does nothing and an expen$ive catalytic converter I could really care less about.

Hey john

The new T looks sweet...I thinking a change this spring myself. Did you get your A2A? I am working on a gas tank design for the Ty so I can have 15gal capacity but able to only need three or so gallons to race with no sloshing. I'll keep you posted. Call me sometime when you have to time.

yup...thats my sy.......

and yes john I got my A/A...and the tank pipes are too long....it hits my idler arm....needs trimming......keep me posted on your gas tank deal...bc I haven't yet converted to a cell but the time is getting near...

josh...the housing is a mitsu...14cm....and the internal WG is massively ported with a 15psi base spring...the stock DP is on there but I'm not sure how long...it is however opened up on the top to 2 3/4"....and the pipe is only ~2 feet long...

I am courious as to why your pipes don't fit like mine . mine come up about 1 inch from the radiator....not even close to the pulleys.

(edit) I just looked at your a2a pics. Mine is mounted so that the scoop is level with the ground....I see that you have your's tilted up ....you may want to adjust it to the level position as the upper pipe may not match up right the way you have it tilted.

yeah I have moved the a/a around and it's more level now.....that tilt was just for the pic........the turbo is a T76 Qtrim exhaust and it's a TDO4S comp housing....and a mitsu 14cm exhaust housing....with internal WG.
