Newbie from WI.

Hello I'm new to the sy/ty world looking for a ty , just got nback in the mc game after last car was a gn with a list of mod's , now kid's are alittle older and no more day care so I bought a 2004 cobra and now looking for a typhoon, if I get a ty my brother in law will get a sy as he always wanted one of them, same excuse raising kid's. I'm from Wisconsin, Waukesha area......would like to meet some local guy's and gal's with these to get a better understanding of them so I can make an educated decision when I make the purchase.

Re: Newbie from WI.

I'm in the general area :D

What kind of ty are you looking for? Good condition, fixer upper, high mileage low mileage? Color? etc?

There are a couple nice ty's for sale on the board right now that are going for a great price depending on what you are looking for of course.

I'm looking to sell my sogt soon all the looks of a sy without the power or traction ;)

Send me an email with some questions about the trucks I will try and answer as best as I can. I'm defiantly not very good with the stock stuff, way to much in the way :D

Good luck with the search :p

Re: Newbie from WI.

By the Waukesha gun club, near highway F & !94

I know the area, maybe we'll run into each other some time in the near future, going big in a couple weeks here on my cobra, whipple, kb BAP,60lb. inj, sbtb, tune. I will get my 600 hp at 17 lbs. of boost for sure . Man I miss my gn's, that's what started this whole shopping process, looking at a ty or TTA two vehicles I alway's wanted, I bought the cobra on a whim 10,900 miles 25,000 pre modded.

The ty i'm looking for has to have a decent body, interior not a rat hole and sun faded, I would like some modding , the less wrenching i have to intially do, but I don't and repeat DON"T want one that runs half assed or poorly modded, (corners cut to save a buck). It would initially be my dd until next year. (saving for family(6) to spend another xmas in Cancun). SY's are out as I have to cart my kids around once in a while, and have my 3 year old and her school pal to take wherever on her school day's. A good example is "Big K's " ty I like the mods and it is clean, not sure on the drivability though and what to look for? Thanks for introducing yourself and offering to guide me in the right direction.

Re: Newbie from WI.

Well the one I was kinda hoping you wanted a little bit of a project because this one is a great deal
http://www.syty.net/forums/showthread.php?t=71871

The guy selling it have been around for yrs and his dad has a ty also.
Good luck on the search and keep checking the classifieds on here as there have been quite a few nice ones going through there lately.

Let me know if you find one and want to check it over a little bit you could bring it by my work and we can put it up in the air and take a look.
