That whole "jonesing for a dime" bit was from yesterdays nice price or crack pipe; it was a Datsun 510 for 3300. 510s are known as Five and Dimes, at least around Chicago they are. I know S-10s are also called S-Dimes, but if you check the article they are referencing the previous NPOCP. In any case, nice truck, but not 12.5k nice. Sad to say, but there is a lot of hate in the comment section.

The one in the thread also had Heat/AC deleted and a Code 59 setup in the glovebox. The truck in the for sale thread was the same truck that a board member considered Clunkering last August.

I think $9-$10k is more like it. AC/HEATER delete, no bed cover, and peeling paint turns a lot of people off ---
